With the themes of "Health starts from the daily meals" and "Food is one and the same," she provides recipes for simple and delicious medicinal foods that can be made at home using familiar ingredients. Last year, she became the first Japanese woman to be appointed as a director of the World Federation of Medical Sciences, the highest authority in China that certifies international qualifications in medicinal foods. She is also well-versed in Japanese herbal medicine and is working hard to popularize medicinal foods that are unique to Japan.
