The talk session featuredDr. YANAGISAWA Atsuo, a leading expert on high-concentration vitamin C infusion therapy in Japan and co-developer of Lypo-C, and Ms. Taniguchi Nobue, manager of a beauty salon, as the moderator. They explained the necessity of vitamin D, also known as the "sunshine vitamin," which has been gaining attention in recent years, and how to take it effectively. We haveselected some excerpts from the session to introduce.
The topic of this talk session was about Vitamin D, which 98% of Japanese people are deficient in. The talk session took the form of Dr. Yanagisawa and Mr. Taniguchi taking turns answering questions sent in advance via social media.
Nobue Taniguchi, who runs a beauty total salon, is a member of the Japanese Society of Orthomolecular Medicine, where Dr. Yanagisawa serves as the representative director. She is a certified first-class food analyst and regularly provides advice on health and beauty from the inside out, not just skin care.
"The important thing is to make sure you get a healthy amount of vitamin D and not become deficient.Deficiency makes you more susceptible to various illnesses. There is no need to worry about future pandemics as long as you get enough vitamin D and put your body in the best possible condition from the inside," says Dr. Yanagisawa.
In response to the question, "What are the tips for efficiently consuming vitamin D through your daily meals?"Taniguchireplied from the perspective of a food analyst,"I recommend dried shiitake mushrooms and dried wood ear mushrooms as something to consume on a daily basis.I use them in my miso soup every morning. Drying leftover vegetables and mushrooms in the sun is also a good idea." In a short but dense session, it was an opportunity to deepen his knowledge and learn wisdom that will be useful to him tomorrow.
At the venue, we provided desserts from The Ritz-Carlton Tokyo along withfree-flow (all-you-can-drink) Lypo-C Vitamin C for all attendees to enjoy.
Lypo-C plans to continue holding events to improve health literacy using vitamins C and D. We will be posting updates on social media and other platforms, so we hope you will join us.
