What is a wellness lifestyle?

Wellness is a word we hear a lot these days. What does it actually mean? What should I start with? And there may be some people who have doubts.
There is no correct answer to the question, "What is wellness?"

"I take a longer bath than usual and relax."

In fact, we unconsciously incorporate wellness into our lives.
In the midst of the hurried days, first face yourself and get to know yourself. Let's find the wellness thing for yourself in it.

Wellness Journal-feeling good-

In the new project “Wellness Journal ~feeling good~” that started this time, we will introduce tips for leading a healthy lifestyle in mind and body while unraveling wellness.

In Issue 01, we will deliver "tips to start the day positively" that you can practice from today.

to start the day positively

Let go of your smartphone, which you check from the moment you wake up, sit on your bed, gently close your eyes, and continue to breathe deeply.

Relax your mind and body once.
While listening to the sounds you hear through your ears and feeling the movement of your lungs as you breathe, focus on your body.

Then, you should be able to feel that you are naturally relaxed both physically and mentally.

Even if you think you've had a good rest, you still feel tired when you wake up in the morning.

Fatigue that remains in the body also appears when you feel tense or stressed, or when your heart is tired.
Therefore, it is important to listen to your heart and body and take care of them. Make it a habit to be “aware” in your daily life.

Believe that a wellness lifestyle will make you shine even more.

When you feel good, you look good.

Editor's Note/Writer Mai Shiratori

Nice to meet you, I'm Mai Shiratori, a writer who will be in charge of this project from this month.

One of my wellness things is getting in touch with nature.
When I can't go to the mountains or the sea, I go to the park.
As someone who lives in Tokyo, my favorite is Shinjuku Gyoen. If you take off your shoes and socks and lie down on the lawn, you will be able to relax with a feeling of freedom and freedom from your shoulders.

And the sight of buildings lined up in the depths of the green is somewhat similar to the scenery seen from Central Park in New York, where I used to live.
This is how I spend my wellness time, remembering my favorite city and feeling positive, saying, "Okay, let's do our best!"

We hope that this Wellness Journal ~feeling good~ will serve as an inspiration for your lifestyle.
