Not a passing trend, but a new way to experience and value wellness to "create the health of the future. SPIC proposes new wellness experiences and values to "Create the Health of the Future. The employees of Lypo-C tell the stories of me and that connect "the past" and "the future. In this second installment, we introduce the story of Rie Nakasone, a member of the Brand Strategy Team in the President's Office.
Rie Nakasone, a member of the brand strategy team in the president's office, says, "I feel that 'Lypo-C' has a mysterious gravitational pull.Even if I don't recommend the product, people around me who see it naturally become loyal drinkers and fans.
Having worked as a designer in several design companies, she decided to change jobs after getting married, saying, "I want to work in an environment with a good work-life balance so that I can continue working when I have children someday." One of the conditions for her search was a workplace that was easy to commute to from home, and she discovered that "Lypo-C," a company she had used when she had skin problems in the past, was recruiting for a designer position. She felt it was fate and immediately applied, saying, "I want to work on a product that I have personally experienced as being truly good!"
"What surprised me when I joined the company was the openness of the company and the beauty of the language that was flying around. In particular, the veteran SPIC employees used elegant and refined language even in their everyday conversations, and I was shocked and moved, as if I was seeing the true essence of beauty. As soon as I joined the company, I thought, 'This is going to be my last job,' and threw out all my resumes. That's how attractive SPIC is, and many people bring their children or families on company trips. I think it's a company with an openness that's rare these days."
Currently, he is taking advantage of the experience he gained in his previous job to handle a wide range of new areas, from pamphlet and web design to event booth design. Having obtained a qualification as a Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Act administrator,he says he finds it rewarding to come up with correct and attractive expressions within the constraints of the law.
"In my previous career, I worked on a lot of cosmetics designs, but Lypo-C has values I had never come across before, and it's a product that's different from other vitamin C supplements. Even though I knew the product's goodness from my own experience, it wasn't until about six months after joining the company that I felt I understood the personality of the brand. I'm still not 100% satisfied with my work, but I am happy when customers are pleased with it. I want to carefully express the worldview of Lypo-C, treasuring the personality and history of the brand and ensuring that customers are pleased with every detail of the design and words."
Start your mind and body with morning "Lypo-C"
I am currently pregnant with my second child, due to give birth this summer.
"In the early stages of pregnancy, I suffered from morning sickness, just like with my first child, which continued for about two and a half months. Unlike my first pregnancy, this time I had to take care of my one-year-old son, so I couldn't get much rest. I was doing my best just to get through the day. With my first child, I suffered from both morning sickness and vomiting, but this time it was mainly morning sickness. I often felt unwell, and in the early stages of pregnancy, when my sense of taste and smell were particularly sensitive, it was difficult for me to take my daily Lypo-C, so I temporarily stopped."
When her condition started to stabilize at the 16th week, she started taking Lypo-C again. She feels best in the morning, and says that mixing two packets of Lypo-C Vitamin C and one packet of Lypo-C Vitamin C+D with apple or citrus juice works best for her. Taking it in the morning kick-starts her mind and body.
"Your physical condition during pregnancy can easily be affected by the weather and the time of day. Rather than making a complete routine, it's important to consult with your physical condition at the time and adjust the amount and timing of your drinks within a reasonable range."
*Depending on your physical condition and constitution, this product may not be suitable for you, so if you have any concerns, please consult your doctor before trying it.
"Once I ran out of my stock at home, and the afternoons were especially tough... I usually take Lypo-C Vitamin C whenever I feel tired, so I was reminded of the value of Lypo-C and how it really makes a difference in my physical condition. It's said that immunity is generally lowered during pregnancy, but I was able to get through this winter without getting sick."
What's different from her first pregnancy is that she now has the option of taking "Lypo-C Vitamin C+D," which was released last September. She says she is enjoying a healthy pregnancy and is in the middle of her pregnancy.
"Until now, whenever I felt a change in temperature or fatigue, I would almost always fall ill. However, since I discovered C+D, I have been able to feel more comfortable. When I had my first child, I didn't have C+D and I would periodically feel unwell, which made me realize that I was lacking in Vitamin D. I also think it would make a great gift before and after giving birth. I am once again feeling happy to be involved in a product that I truly believe in from the bottom of my heart."
Respect the personality of the brand and nurture it with care
Minor pregnancy problems such as swelling and hip pain can be prevented by taking advantage of personal training available through the company's employee benefits. She also takes care of herself by practicing the home care she learned at the gym, using a foam roller to loosen up her entire body, and making it a habit to massage her calves, which are also known as the second heart.
"I think I've changed. To be honest, before I joined the company, I thought that as long as I paid attention to one of the three things - diet, sleep, and exercise - I'd be fine. But by talking to SPIC employees, who have a very high level of commitment to health, on a daily basis, my attitude has changed dramatically. Everyone there is incredibly knowledgeable, and it's natural to exchange opinions about health, including nutrition and exercise.
Listening to the stories of SPIC employees, our own gym and salon, and the doctors at our affiliated clinics, I was reminded that the body is an interconnected system, and that diet, exercise, and sleep are all essential.
It all started with a single product called "Lypo-C," but I also feel that being able to find an environment where I can absorb new knowledge and be stimulated every day has nourished my soul."
She will be on maternity leave from July, and is due to give birth in August. She is looking forward to returning to work as much as she is looking forward to the birth of her second child.
"Brands have personalities too, and when I think about how I can best convey their appeal, I begin to feel attached to them like I would my own child. In order to nurture my products as products that are loved by as many people as possible, my current goal is to pass the Specified Commercial Transactions Act certification course that I am currently studying for and broaden the scope of my expression. With Lypo-C on my side, I hope to continue upgrading myself both as a designer and as a mother and come back to healthier."
