Health is beauty
Daily accumulation is important

With good posture, firm hips and firm skin, Kuroki-san looks surprisingly youthful, even though she has two sons, ages 24 and 20. Nordic walking has given her strength and stamina, so she's in great shape.

"I believe that health comes before beauty. I haven't been to the hospital for over 10 years. Even when I feel like I have a slight cold, a walk in the greenery makes me better. In fact, research has shown that walking in the forest activates immune cells called natural killer cells. Also, exposure to sunlight, comfortable rhythmic exercise, and interaction with others activate the secretion of serotonin, the happiness hormone. Don't worry too much about UV rays, but with the help of Lypo-C, choose a cool time in the morning or evening and try walking along a shady path. The scenery you see will sparkle and shine, and you'll feel happy."

However, it is also true that there are some problems that cannot be solved by exercise alone. When walking with students during lessons, they often come to him for advice on their problems.

"There are many people out there who have a variety of problems, such as shallow sleep or a lack of motivation. I think that exercise can help with most of these issues, but everyone's constitution is different. I started studying Chinese medicine because I was in a dilemma about how to advise people whose problems could not be solved by exercise."

What I learned from studying Chinese medicine is that daily exercise habits, diet, and way of thinking are important for good health.

"The herbal medicine sales company teaches me how to live a life without taking medicines (laughs). In herbal medicine, the idea is that when you get sick, your good energy is defeated by your bad energy. In other words, it's not the virus that's bad, it's because you're weak. That's why it's important to boost your immune system."

She learned the concept of "pre-illness," which states that you don't become healthy because you cure an illness, but rather that you cure an illness because you become healthy, and she also learned about mental care.

"When your mind is troubled, it can damage your internal organs. That's why it's important to pay attention to your attitude. Even during lessons, I tend to say things like, "It's hot, it's cold," but I try to rephrase things in a positive way, like, "When it's hot, the breeze feels nice," or, "It's not sunny, but it's cloudy, so it's good that I won't get sunburned." If you keep doing it, it will become a habit."

Helped by the power of Lypo-C
More and more healthy

Kuroki's philosophy of traditional Chinese medicine also seems to influence the way she chooses supplements and the way she manages her health.
"I started choosing supplements that boost my body's vitamin C intake, not for beauty purposes, but to ensure that my body is always full of it. As for health management, rather than making special plans, I try to make frequent adjustments to my health."

Kuroki tries not to get too little sleep for two days in a row, takes baths to keep the body warm, does not go more than three days between exercises, and does not eat out consecutively. These are not special things that Kuroki tries to do, but simple things that can be done right away in everyday life.
"However, you can't fight aging. Since I turned 45, I've been unable to stay up late at night. Even though I have a few more things I need to do, my eyes get watery (laughs). But since I started taking Lypo-C Vitamin C, I can feel the difference."

He said that he was now able to push himself a little harder even at times when he would have been too tired to go straight to bed. "Before I knew it, it was already late at night, and I thought that wasn't good either, so I try not to stay up late and go to bed early."

He says he always takes Lypo-C Vitamin C three times a day: morning, noon and night.

"I like sour flavors, so I add white balsamic vinegar and Stingless honey, which is a sour honey, and mix it with water to make a delicious drink."
I want to continue sharing the joy of Nordic walking with many people, so staying healthy is an important issue for me.

"When I started working as an instructor at the age of 40, I chose Nordic walking, believing it was something I could continue for a long time. My 77-year-old mother's good posture is surely due to the dancing and gardening she has been doing for many years. I hope that by walking with good posture and style even at the age of 70, people will be able to sense something."

Next up to take over Lypo-C baton fromKumi Kurokiis Akiko Aoyama, wife of Juraku Hanayagi, the third generation dancer of the Hanayagi schoolof Japanese dance. We bring you the real testimonials of those who tried Lypo-C for a month.
