Among them, the talk session with guest Kotoko Yamaga was particularly lively, and we will report on it.

--Congratulationson your marriage. Did you do anything special to prepare for your wedding?
"Because I was wearing a plain white kimono, I was told that it would be better not to lose too much weight, so I continued my regular training. I go to the gym every two or three days to do muscle training, and I feel better when I move my body. I think it was good that I was able to attend the wedding without forcing myself, as an extension of the things I've been doing every day."

--Youmust be busy with work, what do you do when you can't go to the gym?
"It's definitely walking. When I was stuck at home during the COVID-19 pandemic, I used to walk with my sister for about an hour and a half every morning, and my legs got toned and slimmer, so I've been doing it ever since. That said, I don't set aside a specific time to walk, but rather I just walk a few stations to where I have meetings, make sure to take the stairs instead of the escalator, and do other things that I can easily incorporate into my daily life."

--Doyou also pay attention to your diet?
"I want to be considerate, but my husband comes home late, after 10 p.m., and we eat dinner together after that, so no matter how particular I am about the ingredients and seasonings, it may not be a good idea from a beauty perspective (laughs). But now I want to prioritize the time we spend eating together, and I'm trying to find ways to offset it with other times."

--Itseems that it's important to cherish what you enjoy and continue doing it little by little every day.
"That's right. And it's important to continue while enjoying it without forcing yourself. No matter how good a beauty or health method is, if you force yourself to do something, you won't be able to continue it, so it might be a good idea to look for things and ways of enjoying them that you can enjoy. In my case, I think that daily fine-tuning through muscle training and walking suits me better than special treatments that will turn things around in one fell swoop."

--Anyother things that you do as part of your daily routine?
"That's right, Lypo-C has been my daily habit for over four years now. I sometimes take up to five packets depending on how I feel that day. I don't have pale skin, but I feel that by continuing to take it, my skin tones up, so I took a lot of it before my wedding. Also, when I feel like I have a sore throat, I put Lypo-C in my throat and gargle it. I feel like I recover faster even when I'm not feeling well. My husband's family also loves it, so when I gave it to my mother-in-law, she was very happy."

─Thereare so many supplements available. Why did you choose Lypo-C?
"It doesn't contain any unnecessary ingredients such as sweeteners or additives. It's the same when choosing seasonings and ingredients, but I check the ingredient label and try to choose as simple as possible, with no ingredients I don't understand. The amount and frequency can be customized to suit my physical condition, so it helps me to face my current condition in the midst of my busy daily life, for example, "I've been in the sun a lot today, so I'll drink more." I usually drink it straight, but I also like mixing it with amazake."

--Doyou do any other self-care?
"My philosophy is not to let fatigue or swelling drag on, and not carry it over to the next day. I massage my scalp in the bath, and as part of my self-care routine, I use a foam roller to get the lymph flowing. Up until now, my weight hasn't fluctuated that much, but when I gained a few kilos, the swelling made me look fatter than I actually was. Since then, I've been conscious of fighting swelling, and I even wear compression socks when I fly."

--Whatcan we do to achieve healthy beauty like you?
"I feel that I am who I am today through a variety of experiences. In my early 20s, I would sometimes relieve stress by overeating and drinking, but now I refresh myself by working out, and as I get older, I naturally crave more vegetables and Japanese food. I also feel that it is important to get some sun. When it comes to beauty, ultraviolet rays are the enemy, but being in the sun makes both my body and mind more positive, so I want to get along with it well. For that reason Lypo-C is an indispensable and reliable partner."

A routine that can be continued without difficulty, arrived at through various experiences. Find a routine that fits your lifestyle like Kotoko, and enjoy self-improvement more freely.
